Scripture:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.  Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.” Psalm 27:1-3

Perspective:

Have you ever gotten that phone call? The call is the one where you answer and fear in on the other line.  It could be because you found out bad news from the doctor, you got a pink slip at work , or just the uncertainty of life.  You simply stop, as if the phone line went dead.  However, God responds differently to fear.  He simply tells fear that it has the wrong number.  He invites us to do the same.

Because the Lord is the light of our lives, we can see through even the darkest of circumstances.  God gives us the strength to overcome fear in our life.  So, even when chaos surrounds you, you can be confident in the Lord.  Guard your heart and mind from fear.  The enemy wants us to draw back and be consumed by fear.  Why?  Because fear paralyses you to fulfill God’s call on your life. Maybe your circumstances don’t create fear, but the future does.  You might be afraid to step out and pursue your dream.  Be confident in God; don’t let fear hold you back.  Remember, it’s just a call from the wrong number.

Thank you to all of our faithful readers.  Hope you are encouraged and inspired.
