Scripture:
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4
Perspective:
Have you ever been in a bookstore, coffee shop, or at home and you can’t think? Sometimes the noise surrounding us is so distracting. It limits our ability to think, create, and enjoy activities. A quiet day at a bookstore can quickly turn into a third grade field trip!
However, sometimes the loudest noise is inside us. We can block out all the craziness around us and still have noise inside. God promises us stillness and quiet for our souls. He wants to give us peace and calm inside. Instead of embracing worry and all your concerns, rest in Jesus. Fix your eyes on Him. Take a moment to quiet your soul and your mind. Invite God into your situation and trust Him to come through for you. How can we have peace of mind? Trust God. Like a child who relies on their parent, God will respond as you rely on Him.
