“If you want to live well, make sure you understand all of this. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll learn this inside and out. God’s paths get you where you want to go. Right-living people walk them easily; wrong-living people are always tripping and stumbling.” Hosea 14:9
Perspective:
When you are going on a road trip to a new place, you need a map, GPS, or a really adventurous spirit. But, if you have to get somewhere by a certain time, you need to rely on your directions. Otherwise, you have to stop and ask people at every gas station how to get where you are going. You waste a lot of time.
Essentially, life is a road trip, but the only path that takes you were you really want to go is God’s path. When you follow God’s guidelines for life, you truly live. You don’t have to worry about making the wrong turn or taking the wrong exit. God’s Word brings clarity to the questions of life. It guides and helps us on our journey, kind of like the GPS for life. If you want to get where you want to go, follow God. Want adventure? Allow Him to direct your path. It is a sure map for a life fully lived.
