Scripture:
“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” Ephesians 3:20-21
Perspective:
Have you ever been in a room or a tight space and felt claustrophobic? You feel like the walls are closing in and all the other people are taking your precious air. It feels like you are stuck in a box. Once you leave the room, you are able to move on, unharmed. The claustrophobic feeling was only temporary.
In the same way, we look at life and see a box. We stand looking at broken dreams, disappointments, and heartache. We can’t imagine how anything will change. The struggle is that we think God has already done everything. Many times, we build the box we live in, not God. However, God can do anything. His plan for our lives is far greater than our plans. His power is limitless; His wisdom is supreme. With God, there is always more. He is able to do more than we could ever imagine. God whispers to you today, “I have more for you.” Increase your expectation to accommodate God’s expansion of your life. He has more for you!
